Jośe grew up in Rialto, CA., and recently graduated from the University of California Santa Barbara with a Bachelor's degree in Religious Studies and a minor in Applied Psychology. Jośe began volunteering with PeerBuddies his junior year at UCSB as a Buddy for Virtual Private Sessions and continues for a year and a half. Jośe officially joined the PeerBuddies Team as a Lead Facilitator in July of 2022 and leads virtual cases. Jose is extremely grateful for the opportunity to work at PeerBuddies and with a team of people who are so devoted to helping people and who devote so much of themselves to PeerBuddies.  Jośe is very dedicated to promoting community, inclusivity, and making sessions a safe space for everyone. Jośe has a variety of interests, and some of his interests include reading, drawing, reading tarot cards, and reading astrological charts.
